For Harry Potter fans of all ages, it’s a must-visit destination that brings the books and films to life in breathtaking detail. Spread across two incredible theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, the Wizarding World offers a truly immersive experience.
From cobbled streets lined with spellbinding shops to thrilling rides that make you feel like part of the story, every corner is designed to transport you straight into J.K. Rowling’s magical universe. Whether you’re sipping Butterbeer in Hogsmeade, browsing wands at Ollivanders, or hopping on the Hogwarts Express, this is where the world of Harry Potter becomes wonderfully real.
Hogsmeade (Islands of Adventure)

The first phase, Hogsmeade, located in Universal’s Islands of Adventure, officially opened in June 2010. This area includes the iconic Hogwarts Castle, the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride, and the Hogsmeade village. Fans can wander Hogsmead, visit Hogwarts, and make magic with interactive wands, highlights include…..
Hogwarts Castle

The jewel in the crown of Hogsmeade, the castle houses the thrilling ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, where guests can experience a flight through Hogwarts and encounter various magical creatures and characters.
Explore Hogsmeade Village

Visitors can explore the snow-covered village and ride Hagrids Motorbike and Hypogrif rides. Visit shops like Honeydukes for magical sweets, and dine at the Three Broomsticks for a taste of wizarding cuisine. Plus, marvel at the castle and try a little magic with your own interactive wand.
The Village and London Are Separated By The Hogwarts Express

The Hogwarts Express is a train ride that connects Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade and the two parks. The journey is an attraction in itself, with scenes and characters from the films appearing during the ride. You need a park-to-park ticket for this, but it’s worth it for the Hogwarts Express experience, where you can journey between the magical lands.
Diagon Alley (Universal Studios Florida)

The second phase is our firm favourite. Diagon Alley, located in Universal Studios, opened in July 2014. This expansion includes the Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts ride, the Diagon Alley shopping area, and the Hogwarts Express train that connects Diagon Alley with Hogsmeade.
Kings Cross Station

The exit from the Hogwarts Express brings you to Harry Potter’s London and a magical world to explore.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts

This is a 3D multi-dimensional ride that takes you on a thrilling journey through the vaults of Gringotts Bank, featuring appearances by key characters from the films.
But First You Get To Visit Gringotts

The ride has a wonderful queuing system that takes you through the bank, and the goblins are at work in the bank. For fans this is a real treat to be following the steps of Harry, Hermione and Ron.
Ollivanders

The famous wand shop where “the wand chooses the wizard.” Visitors can watch or participate in a wand selection ceremony. This is one not to miss for a magical experience. There is also an Ollivanders at Hogsmeade to help with crowds. Top tip: do this early at Hogsmeade to avoid long queues.
12 Grimmauld Place

Check out the home of the Black family and the Order of the Phoenix headquarters and Kreacher as he twitches the curtains to glare at the muggles below.
