Tour the Royal Promenade on Oasis of the Seas: Shops, Dining & More

Share

We have always loved The Royal Promenade on Royal Caribbean Ships; it was one of the features we fell in love with on our first-ever cruise and what, in our opinion, sets Royal Caribbean ahead of so many other cruise lines. And like all ships in the fleet with this space, the Royal Promenade on Oasis of the Seas is a dazzling hub of activity and entertainment, offering a vibrant atmosphere that promises something for everyone.

The Royal Promenade on Oasis of the Seas is a place where guests can explore a mix of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Whether you’re seeking a lively evening out, a casual bite to eat, or a spot to relax with a drink, the Royal Promenade delivers it all. Here’s a closer look with photos of the venues and artwork that make this space truly special. Today we will take you on a tour and show you what’s on the Royal Promenade on Oasis of the Seas.

The Globe and Atlas Pub

The Globe and Atlas is a quintessential British pub. With its wood panelling, classic décor, and a selection of beers, ales, and ciders from around the world, this spot is perfect for unwinding, taking you back to the English pubs of yesteryear. We loved the nightly music performances and quizzes on sea days. I think this is our favourite pub on any Royal Caribbean ship so far.

The Oasis of the Seas is full of quirky artwork, and this couple huddled up in an alley at the side of the pub is a testament to the design detail that went into the renovation of the Oasis of the Seas.

The Bionic Bar

For a futuristic twist on your favourite cocktails, visit the Bionic Bar. Here, robotic bartenders steal the show, crafting your drinks with precision and flair. Simply place your order via a tablet and watch as the mechanical arms mix, shake, and serve your beverage.

It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that’s sure to impress. However, for us, this is a one-and-done; I think when it first launched, we were super impressed. But now, this space could be used for something more useful.

Boleros

This Latin-inspired lounge turns up the heat with its energetic Latino vibe. Sip on signature mojitos, caipirinhas or the cocktail of the day as you enjoy live Latin music and dancing. This was also where the music quizzes were held during our sailing; the bar team was upbeat and friendly, making it a great place to hang out.

Spotlight Karaoke

Whilst I am not a Karaoke fan, Spotlight Karaoke is the perfect spot to unleash your inner star. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just singing for fun, this venue offers a stage for everyone. With private karaoke rooms and a main stage for larger audiences, it’s a fantastic spot to create unforgettable memories with friends and family.

Rising Tide Bar

The Rising Tide Bar was not working during our sailing, so it remained static on Central Park; this moving bar travels between the Royal Promenade and Central Park, allowing you to enjoy your drink while taking in views of the ship.

Oasis of the Seas is a ship where you need to look up to fully appreciate its design details and beauty. One such example of this is the glass ceiling with views of Central Park up above.

Craving pizza? Head to Sorrento’s for a slice of authentic Italian goodness. This casual eatery serves a variety of pizzas, from classic margarita pizza to creative speciality options. It’s the perfect place to satisfy your hunger on the go. This pizza is seriously amazing and the perfect late-night snack. Plus, if you ask, they will make a gluten-free pizza for you, although you do need to plan ahead for this.

A feature of all Royal Promenades on Royal Caribbean is the signature car. I will never forget the first time I saw this on Adventure of the Seas. It’s crazy, but I love how different it is. Oasis of the Seas hosts an Auburn Boattail Speedster, which is great for enthusiasts and perfect for selfies.

Don’t forget to look up at the overspill area for Sorentos; it is the artwork on Oasis of the Seas that really makes this ship stand out. I love these workmen painting over graffiti.
