With the latest technology at sea, Norwegian Encore is designed to keep families entertained for the entirety of their family cruise. Yet NCL raised that bar further in the family cruise market, offering even more groundbreaking family activities that will have families wanting to keep coming back for more. Today we will look at not only what onboard for the kids. But a little of what the parents will love too.

The Choir Of Men Stage Show

The Choir of Man debuted on Norwegian Escape and combines high-energy music, dance, live percussion and foot-stomping choreography—showcasing the incredible talent of nine ordinary guys who perform everything from sing-along anthems to classic rock.

I will be honest I didn’t feel inspired to see the Choir Of Men. But wow, the show is extraordinary. In theory it shouldn’t work. However it works on every level and had the audience, laughing, crying and singing along. The vibe in the theatre was electric and I left not wanting it to end.

The Cavern Club

The Cavern transports you back to the legendary Liverpool club with live musical performances from a Beatles cover band. Beetles fans will not want to miss The Cavern. If I had to criticise I would say the age of the band is not well balanced. However their ability to get a crowd going and the atmosphere they create far outweighs that.

As a huge Beetles fan I thoroughly enjoyed singing along to my favourite Beetles hits. The shows are split into eras and albums so there is always something new to see and enjoy.

Race Track At Sea, The Norwegian Encore Speedway

At nearly 1,150 feet, with ten exhilarating turns and four points that extend up to 13 feet over the side of the ship, guests will enjoy the largest race track at sea.

The race track has been enhanced to create the thrills that kids and teens love. But also encourages families to take part together.

There is an additional charge for the speedway, which can also be be bought as part of a package. Prices on Norwegian Joy are currently $15.00 for a single kart session. The Ultimate Speedway Package $199 permits you to use the race track as much as you like during scheduled opening hours for unlimited use during a 7-day sailing. The minimum height is 55 inches, and sandals are not permitted.

The kids’ pool is 2 feet 4 inches deep and also has a selection of life jackets of different sizes for children of different weights. This area is great for families as it caters to kids of all ages. Thus, parents don’t have to split up to keep their eyes on kids using the pool.

Additionally you will find a toddler splash zone full of water slides and cannons for younger children. However toddlers must be potty trained to use the splash pool and pool areas.
