If you recently booked a Royal Caribbean cruise and are wondering what extra costs you may have, drinks are a significant factor. However, if you are not a big drinker, a drinks package is not always necessary, as a selection of complimentary drinks are available. So we thought we would share the drinks we were able to get free on Royal Caribbean.

You Can Take Wine Or Champagne On Your Royal Caribbean Cruise

If you like a pre-dinner tipple, then, on embarkation day, each guest in a cabin of drinking age may bring one unopened and sealed 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne to drink in the cabin.

Water Is Available In Multiple Locations

Water is readily available throughout the ship, and Royal Caribbean is great at keeping guests hydrated. If you prefer a certain flavour of juice then take a small handbag size cordial with you.

  • Request a jug of iced tap water in any restaurant.
  • You can just head to any bar and ask for a glass of tap water.
  • Water dispensers are conveniently located throughout the ship, including the Windjammer buffet and cafe promenade, where you can pour a large glass of water of two and transfer it into a water bottle.

Traditional lemonade is available in the Windjammer Marketplace buffet.

Free Milk On Royal Caribbean

You can get small cartons of milk in the Windjammer Marketplace buffet, and also fill glasses from the dispenser. This is super handy for kids. Top tip: Take milkshake straws to make flavoured milkshakes on the go.

Coffee enthusiasts can enjoy complimentary coffee and tea at various locations onboard, take a thermos coffee mug, and refill it on the go.

Champagne or Prosecco

If you are a crown and anchor member, then head to the captain’s celebration night for Crown and Anchor members where you will be able to enjoy and free glass of champagne.
