However also love a little older and more intimate, especially if refurbishments have taken place. And if you are curious to find out what the biggest ships in the world are? Check out our guide to all of the largest ships.

Which Princess Cruise Ships Have Medallion Class?

Princess Cruise Line recently announced that all Princess ships are now officially Medallion Class ships. This is excellent news as the app has been rolled out across the fleet to make checking in a booking a seamless process.

And as we are soon embarking on a Princess Sea-cation, I can assure you the app is easy to use and understand when you get your head around it; it allows you to book in and upload all of your details to the app. Thus enabling quicker embarkation onto the ship; that has to be better, right? I don’t know about you, but I want to get on the ship and not mess about.

Princess Ocean Medallion For Families

What Is Medallion Class

Ocean Medallion is a small Medallion which is replacing the sea card ( If you don’t own a smartphone, you can use the Medallion, which comes with a lanyard in precisely the same way as the sea card) This guide tells you a little more about the Ocean Medallion and how it works.

What Are The Newest Princess Cruise Ship?

The Discovery Princess was launched in 2022, and Enchanted Princess in 2021. The ships are stunning with features such as a fresh and modern feel, deep-tank pools linked by sunken, communal seating adjacent to dancing fountains and a top-deck bar. The infinity-style wake view pools and bar offer spectacular horizon views at the ship’s aft end.

Which Cruise Ships Are Princess Launching next?

The next Princess Cruise Ship to launch is the Sun Princess in 2024, the first in the new Sphere class—followed by Star Princess in 2025 to join the sister ship Sun Princes.

What Is The Difference Between The New And Old Princess Cruise Ships?

In terms of quality none what so ever, Princess has worked hard to keep the ships up to date, as reflected in the refurbishment programme; the newer ships are bigger; however, more space comes with more passenger numbers.

Saying this, we have sailed on older Princess ships and one thing you can expect as standard is excellent food, outstanding quality and consistency across the fleet.
