Royal Caribbean Cruises separates children into six age groups, each with their own activities. This is a huge comfort when your children are younger. On embarcation day the Royal Caribbean Kids Clubs are open for sign up, take you child along to have a look around and get a feel for the club, speak to the youth staff and find out about the planned activities for your cruise.

To register on the first day, you and anyone you wish to sign you child out of the club goes along to the meet and greet sessions, fill out the relevant forms and get your passports verified. You can also set up a password so that if a relative of friend does sign your child out it makes the process easier.

What Age Can My Children Use Self Sign Out

Can kids sign out from the kids club? From the age of 9-11 you can can give your child self sign out rights. This is not something we ever did as I didn’t want to not know where the. boys were. But this does work fine for some families.

Once they get to teen club age they can come and go from the club as they please.

The Late Night Party Zone for kids on Royal Caribbean

The Late Night Party Zone, Is a group sitting service for those kiddies who want to keep on partying, and is available for ages 3 – 12 from 10:00 pm to 2:00 am in the Adventure Ocean centre. We found our boys loved this as they got older, they used to beg to stay in longer when we went to collect them in the evening.

The cost for this service is $7/hour per child. Notably children attending must be at least 3 years old and also toilet trained – no diapers or pull-ups allowed.

Hope that helps, taking a Royal Caribbean Cruise is a wonderful way to see the world with your family. Once you have cruised there really is no looking back. Happy cruising.

  1. As of right now (5/4/2022), the Royal Caribbean website says Voyagers are age 9-12, not 9-11, so I would assume that the Teens group is 13-17. 🙂
