Everything you need know about Suite Class Lounge and the Coastal Kitchen on Royal Caribbeans Oasis of the Seas Ship

The Oasis of the Seas is a pretty impressive ship stretching over 1,187 feet long. This true marvel of engineering was when launched the fist in her class and the largest ship in the world. This floating city is designed to accommodate up to 6,360 guests and boasts an astounding array of features, including over 20 diverse restaurants, a thrilling zip line, a full size Carousel, mini golf, a 10 story slide and a lush park filled with real plants and trees. But did you know that even better than that guests can elevate their experience and travel in the a ship within this ship in Suite Class?
What is the Suite Lounge on Oasis of the Sea?

Suite Lounge is reserved exclusively for guests of Grand Suite-level accommodations and above. The lounge is a seating area with tables a bar and coffee machines. The lounge also has a Coastal Kitchen Restaurant exclusively for guests staying in these suites. Costal Kitchen serves complimentary breakfast, lunch and evening dinner.
The Suite lounge is also where you will find your Concierge desk with dedicated staff to help you with your vacation.
The Oasis of the Seas Suite Lounge is located on Deck 17. It overlooks Central Park which is located on Deck 8 giving amazing views of the ship. With a huge restaurant and attached lounge area it is a great place to relax at sea and get away from any crowds.
How do you get Access to the Suite Lounge?

To get access to Suite lounge you have to be staying in one of the suites onboard. We recently hopped off of a cruise on Oasis of the Seas cruise and we stayed in a Grand Suite. Royal Caribbean offers an upscale cruise experience with enhanced space, amenities, and exclusive access. What benefits are There to Staying in Suite Class?

In all three suite classes on Royal Caribbean the following is included plus much more;
- A dedicated Check In Line on embarkation with priority Boarding
- Access to the Dedicated Suite Sun Deck.
- Access to the Suite Lounge
- Coastal Kitchen Access
- Royal Caribbean Classic Bathrobes,
- L’Occitane 50 ml Bathroom Amenities,
- In Room Coffee and Tea Services with a kettle

What Parts of the Ship Have Suite Only Access?

While you are staying in a Suite that is Grand suite or higher you will have access to the following areas;
- Suite Sun Deck
- Suite Lounge
- Coastal Kitchen
Dedicated Suite Sun Deck

Forget the busy main pool areas. Suite Class passengers have access to a private sun deck that offers a more peaceful and intimate experience. It’s a great place to relax in a quieter, more luxurious setting. The Sun Deck is at the forward of the ship on deck 17. It wraps around the entire deck. You can choose from Cabanas, sun loungers and private seating areas. The cocktail bar is manned all day and there are towels available.
Are the drinks Included in the Suite Sun Deck on Oasis?

No at the bar on the sun deck you have to pay for your drinks. The cocktail bar on the sun deck serves the same menu as the pool bar.
Are the Drinks Included in the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen on Oasis of the Seas?

Yes most of them are! Just before boarding Oasis you will receive an email from the Suite Concierge that says:
“Coffee and tea are available in the Lounge throughout the day. Hors d’oeuvres, petit fours, and complimentary wine, spirits, beer, and soft drinks are available for our Suite guests every evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.”
However onboard you can have complimentary wine, spirits, beer, and soft drinks from 11am to 11pm whilst you can have complimentary cocktails between 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
What Suites do you have to Stay in for Access to Coastal Kitchen?

Suites are arranged in to different classes, Star, Sky and Sea. Sea guests are normally those staying in a junior suite. As a general rule of thumb Grand Suites and above are Sky or star class and receive access to the lounge.
- Star guests receive complimentary specialty dining throughout their entire cruise as well as access to Coastal Kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Sky guests receive access to Coastal Kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Sea guests receive dinner-only access to Coastal Kitchen, based on availability.
Pinnacle guests also have access to the suite lounge and Coastal Kitchen. However on some sailings where the Suite areas are busy seats are reserved for Suite guests only and it may be limited to top tier Pinnacles.
Coastal Kitchen Food and Drinks

Coastal Kitchen is an exclusive restaurant available to suite guests and Pinnacle Crown & Anchor members on Royal Caribbean ships. Offering a Mediterranean-inspired menu with a Californian twist, Coastal Kitchen provides an upscale dining experience in a more intimate setting than the main dining room. Coastal Kitchen is perfect for guests who want a quieter alternative to the Windjammer buffet or the main dining room. In fact we used it everyday! It was always so relaxed and fantastic service.

Breakfast at Coastal Kitchen

Hours: Typically 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM (may vary by itinerary)
Breakfast at Coastal Kitchen offers a relaxed, upscale start to the day with a menu that blends classic morning favourites with healthier options.

- Eggs Benedict (traditional or with smoked salmon)
- Scrambled eggs, omelets, and frittatas made to order
- Buttermilk pancakes or Belgian waffles with berries
- Lighter Options:

- Fresh fruit platters
- Beverages:
- Freshly brewed coffee, espresso, and teas
- Freshly squeezed orange juice and smoothies
Lunch at Coastal Kitchen

Hours: Typically 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
The menu rotates daily but often includes elevated salads, fresh seafood, and gourmet sandwiches. Here is an example of what was on offer;

Hours: Typically 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM. Typically reservations are recommended but you can walk in.
Dinner is where Coastal Kitchen truly shines. The menu rotates nightly and features premium cuts of meat, fresh seafood, and Mediterranean flavours. Here is an example of the dinner menu.

The Coastal Kitchen dinner experience feels like dining at a specialty restaurant, but without the extra cost for suite guests.
Coastal Kitchen Food Drinks Menu

The menu options always had delicious options on it. They also had classics that were served every day. We did find that there were limited Gluten free and Vegan options but the staff were very happy to speak to the chef and accommodate.
Oasis Suite Lounge Hors d’oeuvre’s and Snacks

Everyday Suite Lounge served a range of hors d’oeuvre and buffet type food. In the morning there was a continental breakfast with tea, coffee and orange juice. Lunch time and afternoon would see a mix of Suite class hors d’oeuvre’s hot and cold food and desserts. Later in the evening you could find cookies and hot chocolate.
Is Oasis of the Seas Suite Class Worth It?

Absolutely. For those who want a premium experience with extra space, personalised service, and exclusive amenities, Suite Class on the Oasis of the Seas is well worth the investment. The access to Coastal Kitchen alone is enough to justify the upgrade if you love great food and a more intimate dining experience. Add in the luxury staterooms, priority boarding, and the VIP treatment, and Suite Class becomes a no-brainer for anyone looking to indulge.
