As the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival comes to the close of another triumphant year. We went to check out the resort’s most glorious event, which offered captivating displays of blooms and stunning topiaries that highlight the beauty of nature, to enjoy our favourite characters brought to life in topiary.

Running for 90 breathtaking days and ending May 27th, the festival’s Disney horticulture cast members have created a spectacular array of topiaries featuring a myriad of Disney characters, seasonal displays, and whimsical items. Allowing guests to celebrate their favourite characters in an extraordinary way. We will look at the magnificent results of some of our favourite characters.
The Main Guys Mickey And Minnie
Of course, you can’t have a Disney Flower Festival without the big guns. Our favourites were Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy.
You’re A Star, With Asha From Wish
If you haven’t seen Wish, it’s one to add to the movie wish list. This heartwarming film about a girl who fights to give people back their wishes highlights the power of dreams and aspirations.
To Infinity And Beyond With Buzz Lightyear
There is no need for introductions; Buzz Lightyear of Toy Story fame is a real family favourite and as imposing as ever as he guards over World Discovery Land.
There’s a Snake in My Boot, With Buzz and Bo Peep
Of course, Buzz Lightyear’s sidekick and best pal is never far away and can be found serenading Bo Peep and her sheep nearby.
I Am Groot
We are Marvel-mad, so Groot has to be our favourite, and the Disney team worked wonders with the little guy. Who can be found not far from the Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind ride. It’s worth going to Epcot for this ride alone; everything about it screams the chaos of the much-loved Guardians.
Second Star to the Right, and Straight on Till Morning With Peter Pan and Captain Hook
Peter Pan and Hook are, of course, on the Entrance to the United Kingdom. This is a perfect spot to stop for a pint or fish and chips in the Rose and Crown.
Keeping Time With Tik Tok The Crocodile
Of course, Tik Tok Crocodile is lying in wait just over the way from Hook and Peter Pan, eagerly watching and waiting.
Nobody Can Be Uncheered With A Balloon, Winnie The Pooh
And Pooh, a British Icon, watches over as revellers come and go from the English Pub. Top tip, the pub garden is a great place to watch the fireworks, but you need to book.
Tale As Old As Time, With Beauty and the Beast
Head to France for a glass of champagne and a little shopping, before visiting Belle and the Beast as they overlook the Parisienne streets.
Be Our Guest with Cogsworth and Lumiere
But don’t miss Cogswoth and Lumiere, before you head to the Ratatouille Ride. This adorable ride is so much fun and one not to miss.
Let It Go With Elsa And Anna
Frozen Fans can’t miss Elsa and Anna, who grace Norway. While in Norway, head into the hat shop for a Viking hat-trying-on session.
Your Power Will Only Grow, With The Troll For Frozen
The last one we snapped was an adorable troll. Not only are trolls featured heavily in Frozen, but they are also a huge part of Norwegian Folklore. We loved exploring troll culture on our last cruise to Norway.
