Today, we are discussing Cruising on the Disney Cruise Line with teens and the Disney Cruise Teen Clubs. These are split between the Vibe Teen Club and Edge Tween Club, three incredible areas teens and tweens won’t want to leave.

We have previously talked about the truly wonderful kids’ clubs and exceptional baby facilities, but what about the teens? Having cruised with our kids for over 20 years, we know how important it is to keep the teens happy.

What Are The Ages For Disney Teen Clubs

The Disney Cruise teenage clubs are split into the following ages

  • Edge Tween Club (ages 11-14)
  • Vibe Teen Club (ages 14-17)

This is wonderful as activities and areas can be really targeted to suit those age groups, thus creating more relaxed environments for all ages.

Do You Pay For The Tween And Teen Clubs On Disney Cruise Line?

No, the clubs are included as part of your cruise fare. However sessions is the teen spa are chargeable.

Edge Tween Club On Disney Cruise Line

Tweens are that in between age aren’t they? Too old for younger children, but too young for older teens. Disney Cruise Line have recognised this and given 11-14 year olds their very own place to play, hang out with new friends and participate in specially designed tween activities.

Disney Edge Tween Club hang outs are equipped with high-tech entertainment including flat-screen TVs, computers and video games. They also offer daily guided activities, but with a cooler grown up feel.

Edge Tween Club Opening Hours

The club is open daily, from 10AM until 1AM, however this can vary. Check the Personal Navigator newsletter or Disney Cruise Line Navigator mobile app while onboard the ship for exact hours.

Activities You Can Expect To Find In Edge Tween Club?

Featuring activities such as quizzes and trivia competitions, take part in putting together TV shows, where they get to learn the basics of special effects, camera trickery and acting skills.

There will also be the opportunity to take part in sports competitions, physical challenges and try their hand at DJ’ing.

Edge Tween Club On The Disney Dream And Fantasy

Edge is all about cool factor. It is located inside the Forward Funnel on Deck 13, with floor-to-ceiling windows, where you will occasionally catch a cruiser passing by on the AquaDuck. Here, you will find gadgets, tech, and fun activities to keep tweens happy and engaged for the whole cruise.

Along with a gaming room, illuminated dance floor, photos booths and karaoke there is never a dull moment.

On the Disney Dream, a state-of-the-art video wall spans over 18 feet wide and almost 5 feet high. With 18 individual LCD screens, the video wall acts as a giant screen. However it’s separate screens can also be divided in any combination to accommodate different-sized multi video feeds!

On the Disney Fantasy, 2 extra-large LCD screens sync together as one for an incredible viewing experience.

Edge Tween Club On The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder

The Edge Lounge on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder is designed to look like the coolest old boiler room, located on Deck 9, Midship with flat-screen TVs, multiple gaming systems and a dance floor.

You will find a 98ʺ flat-screen plasma TV for watching Disney movies. Additionally, there is also the chance to take part in music, arts and crafts, karaoke, scavenger hunts, and selfie walls, to name a few.

The Edge Club On Disney Wish

Situated on Deck 5, Aft, the Edge club offers an ideal retreat for teens and tweens aged 11 to 14. Unwind, engage in games, and forge new friendships in this lively club tailored specifically for tweens, drawing inspiration from the chic urban lofts of New York City.

Vibe Teen Club On Disney Cruise Line

The Vibe Teen Club experience is slightly different depending on which ship you are sailing in. However the overall ethos is the same across the fleet and Vibe provides Guests ages 14 to 17 with their own place to hang out away from their family with other teens. The Vibe Teen Club is solely tailored to teens and what motivates them, so they also have a wonderful Disney Cruise Experience.

Although the Vibe is a teens-only hangout, it is chaperoned by The Disney Cruise Teen Team in a laid-back way so that teens feel unrestricted and comfortable, yet with gentle boundaries in place.

What Times Are The Disney Cruise Teen Clubs Open?

This depends on the ship and itinerary. However, typically, Vibe is open from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. or 2:00 a.m. Exact times or indeed changes with be highlighted on the Personal Navigator newsletter or Disney Cruise Line Navigator mobile app while onboard.

What Teens Can Expect To Find In Vibe

A Snack Bar

Offering coffee, light snack, nonalcoholic drinks, including fruit smoothies and more. giving teens their own place to hang out and enjoy and drink.

The Coolest Sundeck Ever

The sundeck is part nightclub and part sundeck, this area is the coolest place, the only problem is that your teens won’t want to spend time with you!

The Vibe Teen Club Onboard The Disney Dream And Disney Fantasy 

Vibe has a secret entrance and its own cool outdoor deck space. Inside you will find, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, and with cool informal movable modular furniture where teens can get comfy.

Also with a high-tech media room, where teens can watch movies or play video games on a 103ʺ LCD screen with digital surround sound.

There is also the opportunity to take part in talent shows, karaoke contests and dance competitions. A dance floor and video wall set the stage for day-and-night dance parties, and a DJ area. However for a more chilled vibe check out the built-in oval wall pods where you can game or watch a movie on a personal video screen.

Located at the bow of the ship the sundeck is the thing of every cool teens dreams, this is supercool place to sunbathe, hang in the splash pool and chill without parents cramping teens style. There are even deck games for teens who just cant sit still.

The Vibe Teen Club Onboard The Disney Magic And Disney Wonder,

The Vibe Teen Club onboards Disney Magic and Wonder is designed with an urban, loft-inspired theme. Here industrial elements merge with music and gaming, multiple flat-screen TVs, Video games, Board games and Tablets.

Teens will find an LCD screen with digital surround perfect for communal video games or movies. Vibe offers an action-packed schedule for teens, which they can choose at the beginning of their cruise with the Teen Staff.

Vibe on the Disney Wish

Teens aged 14 to 17 will connect with peers, enjoy movies, play games, and participate in specially tailored entertaining activities. Drawing inspiration from a Parisian artists’ loft, Vibe on the Disney Wish showcases elegant architectural features infused with a dynamic retro vibe, accentuated by lively neon signs and quirky pop art. Enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows that frame picturesque ocean views, every corner of this stylish venue provides a backdrop perfect for the most fashion-forward teens cruising the seas.

How Do You Register For The Teens Clubs Onboard Your Disney Cruise?

Before your cruise, you can pre-register your teen and tweens for Vibe and Edge online. However, on Embarkation Day, both teens and parents must check-in. During this time, parents will fill out final paperwork.
