How To Make This Disney Door Decoration
You Will Need
- Cricut Maker
- Card Stock
- Glitter Card Stock
- Foil Poster Board
- Cutting Mat
- Brayer
- Weeding Tools
- Sticky Pads
- Tape Runner
- Magnets
How To Make Your Disney Cruise Door Decoration
Choose the letters and number you want to use, it could be your family name or the date and upload to Cricut Design Space. You will also need the Mickey Anchor and Life Ring.
Once uploaded duplicate the life ring and remove all the contours on one of the images to create a backing. Now group and size.
Next create offsets for each letter, I used 2 one bigger than the other, these can be cut in multiple colours to create depth.
Now arrange and size letters before sending to cut, I used a variety of textures, card stock, metallic and glitter card.
Cutting Your Disney Cruise Door SVG Alphabet And Numbers
When you send your Disney Cruise Door Alphabet Free SVG/PNG files to your Cricut to cut, ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat. Movement will affect the cut.
If your cutting mat looses its stickiness this will affect the quality of cut. Also make sure your mat is in good condition, this is vital for cutting intricate cuts.
Additionally, set the material and cut pressure correctly to match whatever materials you’re cutting to guarantee a clean cut. If you have any problems cutting check the mat, pressure and material settings as generally this is where the problem will lie.
Building Your Disney Cruise Door Decoration
One all the elements are cut, use a tape runner to attach the letters together, then sticky pads to build the letters onto the life ring.
Lastly stick strong magnets to the back to attach to your Disney Stateroom Door.
