Excellent post on RC packages. We have cruised many times with them but do find their packages are getting so expensive it has made us try other cruise lines. Maybe we just need to give up alcohol…..lol or maybe not!

This a great blog post for anyone planning to go on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I do much prefer to have a drinks package as there is no worries about the bar bill at the end! The fact that it’s unlimited is good too as some cruise companies cap the amount of drinks you can have each day – not that I’ve ever reach the limited!

  5. July 4, 2018 / 11:53 pm

I echo what others have said. Anybody thinking of buying the beverage package on Royal should print this out and take it on the ship!

Oh my goodness, this is so detailed! Am definitely going to have to link to this as answers so many questions about vegan cruising on RC… what wines can one have!? Torres and Kendal Jackson at least…. 😉

Can you please tell me what the currency the menus are in?
We will be cruising from Sydney to Auckland. What currency we should tip in?

Glad you found it useful Brenda:) All P&O Cruises Australia ships operate with Australian dollars so that’s the preferred choice of currency for tips too. Have a wonderful cruise!

This cruise is on Royal Caribbean. Do you still recommend Australian dollars?
