Regal Princess Restaurant Menus And Review

Share

Today I want to tell you a little about the Regal Princess restaurant options, share some of the restaurant menus and share my thoughts on the dining and quality of food on Princess cruises and also ask the question, is speciality dining worth the money?

Having just returned from a glorious cruise onboard a Regal Princess UK Summer Seacation, I now realise just how much I have missed cruising. Normality in even the tiniest form feels wonderful. Just getting the chance to get dressed up, chat with you waiter, choose delicious food felt like such a treat.

Yes, you can use your drinks packages in all of the restaurants, we were offered a selection of wines to go with our meals and the drinks service was quick, we had a drink at all times, and they were topped up throughout our meal.

Sabatini’s Restaurant Menus

We didn’t dine in Sabatini’s which is something I really regret now, however thought it was a great idea to still share the menus with you. Sabatini’s on the Regal Princess costs $25 per person and offers a wonderful selection of Italian dishes including pasta and seafood. Sabatini’s also offers their own and speciality cocktails. I tried the Sorrento Sunset and it was delicious.

The Crown Grill Menu On Regal Princess

We did dine at the crown grill at a cost of $29 per person plus an additional $10 for surf and turf if you want to go the whole hog. But wow was it worth every penny.

We enjoyed 4 incredible courses, if I am honest 4 was to much, if I went again I would save plenty of room for the main dish as it was divine. My problem would be narrowing it down as every single course was delicious.

The steak was cooked to perfection, I like my steak medium and it was just as I ordered, not to over done, and not to under done. Additionally the lobster was melt in your mouth, there’s nothing worse than chewy lobster.

The service, food and atmosphere was just wonderful, we never felt rushed, and the timings between courses was perfectly spaced.

Main Dining Menus

You can either eat in, Allegro, Concerto or Symphony, the quality of food and service is wonderful as you would expect of Princess, of the many nights at sea we have enjoyed with Princess, we have never experienced poor food. The choice is always fantastic and if you are travelling with children they go out of their way to accommodate fussy eaters.

I have included a menu to give you an idea of what to expect in the restaurants on Regal Princess, also scroll down for images.

Room Service Breakfast Menu

Room service is available through the ocean medallion app with a choice of included meals and some at an extra cost such a pizza from Alfredos. Breakfast works much the same way as it always did with a card in your room, to get breakfast served to your cabin you must put the card out at night. Scroll down to see the breakfast options for in cabin breakfast.

My Thoughts On The Dining On The Regal Princess And Is Speciality Dining Worth The Money?

Firstly, yes, specialty dining is worth the money, the quality of the steak and lobster was outstanding, in my opinion specialty dining offers a little extra. Whilst this doesn’t take away from the quality of food and service included in your cruise. However I still do like to enjoy both options on a cruise.
